Some believe that the Tree of Life in Jewish myth was in fact a pomegranate, while others think that Eve ate not an Apple, but a Pomegranate.

The Bedouins believe that the Pomegranate tree frightens evil spirits, and that one may sleep in safety under it.

In India the rind (called Malicorium) is used to treat diarrhea and chronic dysentery.

This is herb grade Pomegranate Peel.
